So often we look for books which will appeal to reluctant readers and forget the very large population of committed readers who enjoy a wide variety of books. Into the mix comes “The call”.

This is not for the faint-hearted but it is well written, moves along quickly and is easy to get caught up in. The books is about courageous teenagers and Nessa a determined heroine (with a disability) facing extraordinary odds.
